Freedom in the Eyes of a Rebel.
“All my life, I have been searching for freedom. But I never thought I would discover the true meaning of freedom behind bars.”
This book follows three interconnected storylines.
The first takes place in prison, where there is not much to do. Stories become valuable ways to pass the time, but they also bring knowledge and wisdom. In one prison filled with refugees, stories are told about the whole world, in every corner and every language. What made these refugees leave their own countries, and how did they end up in the Netherlands? Many of them will one day become part of Dutch society. What lies behind them? And what lies within them?
The second storyline explores the asylum procedure and the enormous pressure it can place on refugees who are simply seeking a safe place. Dealing with the asylum system is rarely easy. Refugees must navigate endless rules and procedures, laws without a heart, and this is where they can become lost. Who is honest? Who is a liar? Who is a genuine refugee, and who is not? Who truly needs help? Who receives help but does not deserve it?
The third storyline explores how people become refugees, what life is like on the other side of the world, and the tragedies surrounding asylum procedures. Together, these experiences built a new philosophy within me, a new philosophy about freedom. I discovered that freedom can sometimes be fake. It took me twelve days in prison to understand that there is a difference between real freedom and false freedom.

The Eternal Story Between the Dictator and the Rebel
Based on the stage play of the same name, 25/11 brings the story from the theatre to the page, exploring the eternal struggle between the Dictator and the Rebel.
Driven by Motivation, the Rebel continues his revolution against the Dictator, determined to put an end to injustice. Meanwhile, Corruption works secretly against the revolution, doing his dirty work while protecting and supporting the Dictator.
Behind this metaphorical world are 100% true stories and events. Some are deeply sad, some feel like dark comedy, while others may seem ridiculous or even unbelievable. But reality can sometimes be stranger than fiction, and the truth is not always pleasant.

The Trend (2022)
Written by: Tommy Sherif
Is it Better Now or Before?
Based on the stage play of the same name, The Trend takes a humorous and thought-provoking look at how social media has transformed our everyday lives.
Social media has become part of our routines, our relationships, our work, and almost every aspect of modern life. But life wasn't always this way. So, is life really better now, or was it better in the 70s, 80s and 90s?
Misho and Kisho are two friends who seem as if they belong to completely different times. Together, they explore the differences between generations, question what we have gained and what we may have lost, and try to answer one deceptively simple question: Is it better now or before?
