But it’s more than that — it’s a journey through memories, traditions, environments, childhoods, emotions, and the feelings of refugees and immigrants. 

It’s a chance to meet us, not just hear about us.
It’s also a chance for us to represent ourselves freely — without worries or boundaries — and to share some laughs along the way. 

Amr and Tommy are two young Egyptians who arrived in the Netherlands as refugees. They became friends here, and just as shawarma brings flavor to Amsterdam, Tommy and Amr are bringing the Egyptian vibe to Holland.
